Who We Are
Sterling & Sons was founded in 1997 by Robert Sterling, a bricklayer with 15 years of experience who believed there was a better way to run a building company. His idea was simple: turn up when you say you will, charge what you quote, and do the job as if it were your own home.
Today, Robert's son James runs day-to-day operations, with Robert still overseeing quality on larger projects. The company has grown from a two-man crew to a team of 14 tradespeople — but the values haven't changed a bit.
We're FMB registered, fully insured to £5 million public liability, and every project we complete carries a 10-year structural guarantee. We only take on jobs we know we can deliver properly.
